Clinton having the number of the Beast?
I received the following in my email. I do not agree with the sender's methods, for one thing, he uses his own numerical system for English letters, which does not exist in reality, and he manipulates numbers, as is the method of numerologists, to get the results he wanted. Contrast this with the method I used to get the number of the Beast wherein (1) I used the classical method to calculate the number, (2) I used both Biblical languages and their respective numerical values, and (3) I used the official spelling of the name of the President (William J. Clinton).
I asked him where he got his authority to use his method of numbers and he wrote back:
God transcends time. Thus, the prophet who wrote Revelation had full comprehension that he could encode a message to be decoded 2000 years later in the English language.
Surely, you are not one of those who are going, "Ahhhhhh, that's just a COINCIDENCE that if you add six sixes to Clinton's name and address it adds up to exactly 666. [email Dec 16, 98]
I also asked him,
"are�you saying God came down and spoke to you in your ear?"
He wrote back,
"In a way.� I've had experiences with the Gift of Prophecy from the Holy Spirit since childhood

Is this the year of Christ's Second Coming? 555 + 666 + 777 = 1998. Seven is the number of perfection, six the number of imperfection, while five would symbolize either the world or mankind. Obviously, in this imagery the three sevens would symbolize Jesus Christ's return, possibly in 1998. Or, it may indicate that the New Pentecost may begin in 1998, ultimately resulting in His return within our lifetimes. . . .

By adding six sixes, the result is 666.
[My comment: Notice he does not use the number of his name, but the number of his title, his city, his country, and not his official name (William J. Clinton), but his casual name (Bill Clinton). And notice he uses his own numerical system. He also has calculated Jesus C. and Christ as 77 in English.]
